Biography
Alice Van Alstine was born on 12 January 1914[1] in Alberton, Mineral County, Montana. She was the daughter of Charles Van Alstine and Mabel Rice.
In 1920, six-year-old Alice was living with her paternal grandparents, William and Josephine, in Libby, Lincoln County, Montana.[2]
In April 1930, fifteen-year-old Alice was living with her father in Harlowton, Wheatland County, Montana. Her father was employed as a telegraph operator for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad.[3]
The following year, Alice married Homer T. Davis (1909-1993) on 20 May 1931 in Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana.[4] They had several children:
Alice passed away at age 87 on 7 September 2001 in Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana.[9] She was buried at Libby Cemetery in Libby, Lincoln County, Montana.
